Veterans and Their Families
TFAD will continue to support veterans and their families through the creation of initiatives that offer culturally-appropriate services to older veterans. TFAD also encourages the implementation of programs relating to veterans living with dementia and their families including the ongoing implementation of the Nevada Department of Veterans’ Services Bravo Zulu: Achieving Excellent in Relationship-Centered Care. Information will include modifiable risk factors of dementia and the role that lifestyles plays in reducing risk and supporting people living with dementia.
TFAD also promotes the continued viability and quality of care being offered by Nevada’s two Veterans Homes in norther and southern Nevada.
